What Our Fundraisers Always Do:
Wear visible identification: Our fundraisers always wear a lanyard with an identification card that includes their photo, Plan International Canada’s contact information, and our CRA Charitable Registration Number (11892 8993 RR0001).
Dress appropriately: Depending on the time of year, fundraisers will wear a blue Plan International Canada logo t-shirt, vest, hat, or gloves.
Demonstrate expertise: All fundraisers are well-trained on our programming and can answer your questions about Plan International Canada’s work.
Invite participation: They will invite you to take part in Plan International Canada’s automated monthly donation program.
Secure donations properly: Personal contact information, including your name, address, phone number, and email, are entered into a secure tablet device. Payment method details, such as credit card or direct debit information, are provided over the phone to a verification agent who ensures the gift is processed securely and confidentially.
What Our Fundraisers Never Do:
Accept cash: For the safety of our fundraisers and the secure processing of your donation, they are never permitted to accept cash at any time.
Use unauthorized devices: Fundraisers do not use handheld debit machines, tap devices, or paper receipt booklets. All donations are processed exclusively via a secure tablet device.
