Health Worker Training
A lack of trained health workers and discrimination prevent people, especially girls, from accessing the care they need to survive and thrive. We can change that.
Preventable causes are killing children because they can’t access health care workers. Diarrhea is one of the top killers of children around the globe – but it’s entirely treatable. More teenage girls die from complications in early childbirth than from anything else – but they could be saved with the right care. And young people and marginalized groups like LGBTQ+ people often face discrimination when they try to seek the life-saving health resources they need.
The world needs more empowered and inclusive health care workers to save children’s lives and protect everyone’s health and dignity. You can help make this happen.
Donate to Health Worker Training to support health personnel in many countries, including Bangladesh, Guinea and Nigeria, by providing them with the latest training on nutrition, infection prevention, mental health, sexual health and more. Your donation will help increase the reach of health services to the most remote communities. Together, we will promote inclusive, safe care for everyone by challenging the stigma that teens and LGBTQ+ people face.
