Every child has the right to an education. The right to attend school and have it be a safe environment where they can dream about a bright future of potential and possibilities. But the ongoing crisis around the world is causing millions of girls to miss out on the education they deserve, and every day more children continue to be taken out of school. Without access to education, their opportunities can disappear.

For many girls in developing nations, the current pandemic could result in a permanent end to their education, even when schools reopen, putting their futures at risk. Girls who don’t have the opportunity to stay in school are at higher risk of increased gender-based violence, unplanned pregnancy, trafficking, and child marriage. But you can help. How your donation helps

Promotes free, equal access to quality education for all children. We work with children, their families, communities, wider society and governments, and advocate at both local and international levels, so that all children are able to get an education, especially girls.

Promotes action against gender-based violence. We will work with families to secure their livelihoods so that the financial incentive that comes with child marriage is not used as a coping strategy during times of crisis.

Provides access to sexual and reproductive health information and services. We will work with teachers, parents, health care providers and partners to ensure children get the support they need, when they need it.
