Plan International Canada’s Vice President of Philanthropy, Aaron Sanderson, recognized by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Forty Under 40 list

Toronto, ON., (August 28, 2018) – Plan International Canada is pleased to announce that Aaron Sanderson, Vice President, Philanthropy, has been included in the inaugural Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) Forty Under 40 list.

The Forty Under 40 program is designed to recognize the future leaders within the health care philanthropy community. AHP is honouring 40 young professionals who are shaping the future of the health care development industry. Collectively, they are changing the world—one campaign at a time.

“When you work with an amazing team, the impossible becomes possible. At Plan, we’ve just wrapped up another record-breaking year reaching over six million children, especially girls, raising historical amounts of support for our programs in Canada and around the world. Aaron was more than a key player in these achievements. His commitment to his team and their dedication to Plan International Canada’s vision - a world where girls and boys have the equal opportunity to unleash their potential – have helped us move mountains. I couldn’t be prouder of Aaron and I’m thrilled to see his devotion to our cause recognized,” said Plan International Canada President and CEO, Caroline Riseboro.

The AHP Awards will be presented during the 2018 AHP Annual International Conference in San Diego this upcoming October.

The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) is an international professional organization dedicated exclusively to development professionals who encourage charity in health care organizations. AHP's 4,500 members represent more than 2,200 health care facilities around the world. They collectively raise more than $11 billion each year for community health services.
