Bolivia flagCountry Profile

Capital: La Paz

Language: Spanish

Population: 11 million

Plan International has been working in Bolivia since 1969, helping children access their rights to health, education, protection and participation.

Our interventions take a Child Centred Community Development (CCCD) approach where we work with children and their communities to identify problems and implement solutions.

Currently, we are supporting local governments in their formulation of rights-based community development plans designed with the participation of children, adolescents and adults to build a child-friendly culture.
