Sponsor the Health project

A girl in Ghana, Africa

In the poorest regions of the world, infant and child mortality rates are staggeringly high – about one in five children don’t even make it to their fifth birthday. The reasons? Poverty, the vicious cycle it creates and the absence of basic health services in communities.

But, for only $25 a month, you can help create a brighter, healthier future for children and families in the developing world.

Did you know?

  • Nearly 17,000 children under age five die every day, and 83% of these deaths are caused by infectious, neonatal or nutritional diseases.
  • More than 99 million children under five are underweight and undernourished.
  • 2.5 billion people still do not have access to proper sanitation, including latrines and toilets.
  • To meet global needs over the next 20 years, 40-50 million new health care workers will need to be trained and deployed.

There is a need for us to stand up and create a healthy, brighter future for children around the world. We can make a change.

Meet Ma Khin

Your support will help children like Ma Khin, a 10-year-old girl who doesn’t have access to the clean water needed to keep her healthy. But because of the Health project, that’s about to change. A new water system is under construction in her community, Ma Khin’s school taught her how sanitation and hygiene contributes to good health, and she has shared this information with her family to help keep them healthy, too.

You can help keep children like Ma Khin healthy.
