Sustainable development goals: Our goals, our future

In 2015, world leaders, activists and international organizations are coming together to adopt a set of global goals that aim to transform the world and improve the lives of its inhabitants by 2030 to create a safer, more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable global society.

These 17 sustainable development goals – or SDGs – address some of the most pressing issues relevant to us today: poverty, access to education, health, gender equality, the environment and the resilience of communities in the face of emergencies and disasters.
