Photo of children readingThis resource is a useful tool for making young people more aware of the impact they an make on issues of importance to them. It builds on the skills developed with the activities in the Kids Who Care Teacher's Guide and allows students input into follow-up activities and action-oriented projects.

A step-by-step guide to implementing youth-led projects, the Action Guide includes:

  • advice on planning and executing global education events
  • ideas on how to start a community/school group, get people interested and keep people communicating
  • examples of global education projects students might like to implement
  • information on the Rights of the Child
  • inspiring ideas and examples from projects around the world
