Photo of video narratorsThe "Kids Who Care" materials develop themes of cross-cultural communication, friends, citizenship and environmental sustainability. This resource can be used to satisfy specific curriculum requirements and can be used in leadership-building or extra-curricular programs that involve children in supplementary activities in their local communities.



Key aspects of global education in the "Kids Who Care" program are:

  • a focus on common issues and challenges
  • a belief that knowledge of global conditions and trends has to be complemented by relevant analysis and action
  • the need for people to participate actively in finding appropriate solutions and in seeking personal fulfilment in doing so
  • the importance of dialogue between diverse cultural and social groups
  • the promotion of the Rights of the Child
