The Earth is a single country, and all people are its citizens. We have to share this planet so don't be selfish.

Internet Activity

Image of computer screenCanada's SchoolNet has a lot to offer students and teachers. Through SchoolNet students can link to the Grassroots program. This program offers schools funding for Internet-based, interactive projects designed and run by classroom teachers and their students. Students can sign on and read through profiles of successful projects for inspiration.

A number of national and local Canadian newspapers publish the day's main stories online. Have students log on for material to add to their "Whose news?" project.
