Host, Entertainment Tonight Canada
After graduating London's Fanshawe College with a Broadcast Journalism degree, Cheryl landed her first paid media gig at the Owen Sound radio station where she took the time to learn and improve her craft. It didn't take long before Cheryl landed her first paid TV gig at Barrie's New VR station. Cheryl's arsenal of skills eventually caught the eye and ear of a Global TV executive in Toronto, and in the summer of 2005 she auditioned to host Entertainment Tonight Canada and got the job. Cheryl has had the opportunity to travel the world and meet all the biggest stars from George Clooney to Oprah, but her TV journey isn't over yet. She's still learning and improving her craft, and as a wife, mother, and budding entrepreneur, she adds new skills to her arsenal every day.
Cheryl is passionate about supporting children and believes that everyone should have equal opportunities, regardless of where they live. As a Plan International Canada Celebrated Ambassador, her support for Plan International’s work helps create a brighter future for families and communities in the developing world.
