Plan's work in Africa started in Ethiopia in 1974 and now covers 24 countries. From improving education to rolling out health programs, we work with children and their communities to help break the cycle of poverty.
We invest in excess of US$250 million annually in programs and partnerships to improve children’s lives and well-being.
Our strategic framework for Africa provides five important directions:
