Plan in Haiti
Since 1973, Plan has worked in Haiti to help poor children, their families and communities, to take an active role in decisions that affect their lives.
Our focus since the January 2010 earthquake has been on the long-term re-imagining and rebuilding of Haiti. We have developed a four-year plan to provide extended relief and the reconstruction of lost infrastructure. It will take many years to help Haitians rebuild their country, but Plan will remain even though the cameras have gone. Our long-term staff on the ground are experts in building communities, and we will work closely with the children and families of Haiti to create a better future.
