Devastating Earthquake Strikes Haiti

A 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti on Tuesday January 12, 2010, causing devastating damage in the impoverished country. The quake was centred 15 km west of the capital, Port-au-Prince, and was felt as far away as the neighbouring Dominican Republic.
