Donor spotlight
Glacéau-smartwater has teamed up with two-time Olympic medalist and world champion freestyle mogul skier, Jenn Heil, in support Plan’s Because I am Girl initiative.
In February 2011, smartwater reached out to young Canadian females through the smartgirls challenge, encouraging them to write about how they’ve made a difference in the lives of girls and women in their community. Three winners from across Canada were selected and will be joining Jenn Heil on a once in a lifetime trip to Rwanda at the beginning of August, 2011 to help celebrate the building of a new school for girls.
Plan is thrilled to join smartwater in their support of a growing movement to empower women and girls, and to send the message to women and girls everywhere that “Being smart is Beautiful.”
